Live editing diary part 3

1st February 2017

We tried to add on our recording of Alisha and I speaking, but it seems as though you can only have one audio file playing at a time. So our idea is to save our opening sequence, and then open it onto iMovie again and add audio on top of the clip. And then our titles. We have not been able to find anything online about this problem, we are in independent study and will ask our professor before going through with this plan because rendering the video and then editing over it again will decrease the quality of the video, which is not something we want.

So, in the meantime ;) we are going through the audio in or clips because some parts of it is too loud and it not comfortable to listen too.
We have cut out a start of a handheld clip of me and alisha walking because yasmin is finishing off a sentence, it sounds harsh and you cannot make out what she says anyhow. So we cut it out
we fin. i may have over exaggerated
we are splitting the end of the clip because there is an extra click and we want the last sound of the opening to be the light switch turning off.
we are thinking off spliting the light switch and increasing the sound .
it did not work . we have left it in its original state .
\ we have returned and alisha found out how to spike just one part of the clip to increase the sound. The light switch is louder.

We have returned and we have found out how to add two tracks at the same time so we do not need to  save the video and put sound over it. We are working it out, but somehow, somewhere we have lost 10 seconds of our footage so we are having an issue worth the music of our clip . The song we have used, builds up at the end and falls silent as our clip ends and the light switch goes off. But now it builds up before the end and continues on with its second part of the song which is not what we want for our clip.
