Preliminary task
Planning and story boarding :

This is our original story board, it is slightly different from our final prelim. In the final prelim task we did not have the quaking hands, but instead a gasp from Alisha and a face and freeze frame from Yasmin. This was just because when we were filming we decided that these would be better for us.

Yasmin and Alisha were acting and I was filming. I used the tripod and the camera. We then edited the video in iMovie, Though I was filming we all shared the director role and there was no dictatorship. Filming this preliminary was relatively fast, it was the first time we used the camera but overall is took us an estimate of 15-30min.

It was also the first time we used iMovie, lucky we have previous experience with other editing softwares. For example I know how to use Sony Vegas Pro, so this aided our editing because it wasn't all new to us. It took us 30minutes to edit the video. This was because of our previous knowledge and the fact that we did not film access video, we have a few bloopers but I did not leave the camera rolling for unnecessary lengths.

Yasmine:Every five seconds a child dies in africa.
Alisha:You can prevent this by donating to water aid today.
Yasmine: Everyday they are forced to drink dirty water.
Alisha: £5 a month we can stop this now.
Yasmine: What if you don't care about the children in africa??!
Alisha: *gasp*
Yasmine: *disgruntled stare*
